Small Bust of the Goddess Diana, 1st to 3rd Century, Bronze Fitting

Green patina a little chipped in places. 
Prov: Ex Hanson's auctions (of Antiques Roadshow fame), previously from a Gloucestershire, UK collection. Acquired legally and ethically.

Bronze plate brooch with beaded border, lugs and enamelled cross. Pin intact.

Made of bronze with red and blue enamelling. Loop broken on back.

Roman or Later Brooch Collection

 Includes bronze horse, stag & frog brooches. The plate brooch in the form of a frog is particularly special, its back is inlaid with two panels of yellow enamel with blue spots. 
Umbonate brooch was once enamelled but this has now worn. Sale via eBay.

Bronze Tinned Trumpet Whorl Brooch

A tinned bronze plate brooch formed as two La Tene trumpet motifs with scrolled detailing; hinge and catch to reverse. Ex Chris Rudd collection 11g, 45mm x 20mm

Roman Gilt Bronze Skeuomorphic Plate Brooch, c2nd Century

A fine bronze brooch with central roundel with scrolls above, flared and ribbed panels below. Pin present. Nice patina with gilding still in recesses.

Roman Bronze Plate Brooch with Enamelled Disc and T-Shaped Arms, 2nd C

Equal-ended type with pin in tact to rear. White and red enamelling. Compare to Hattatt's Fig. 211, 1108 for type.
