Celtic, Gold Stater, Early Uninscribed, Whaddon Chase Type

Produced by the Catuvellauni tribe around 55BC and as such is one of the earliest found in Britain.

Described by C. Rudd as the Norfolk Boar Phallic silver unit.
 
S431, ABC1582, please see pictures for grade and condition, but considered Very Fine+ with nice rainbow patina, a well struck piece. 

The obverse side of this silver Iceni coin from the 1st century BC.
