ARE MY MODERN COINS WORTH ANYTHING?

This is a question I receive nearly every day. As a rough guide, any British coin of the reign of Elizabeth II is not worth very much unless it is in pristine condition (mint) or has an error or produced as a precious metal, but even then not very much. In most cases they won't buy the stamp to send it anywhere. Prior to our dear departed queen's currency, the older it is the more valuable but only when in silver - after 1947 our coins were not made in silver, unless specials. If your coin doesn't fit into one of these catagories then do ask, but otherwise think of my sanity! Thank you. 

Valuations/authentications can be undertaken for any coin; fees start at £5 up to £20 depending on the work involved. A full written report will be produced and your coin may need to be 'held in the hand' for close work, when photos are not enough! Enquire below.
