Grade: Fair, portrait distinguishable, considered type 1b

Grade: GF, debased issue, flan edge unever with a small crack

Grade: GF, flan a little small and ragged, portrait better

Grade: F, a good portrait of the 5th bust which is not often seen, with no example in Spink; a good sized flan, probably weak strike with a dirty die

Reverse: Flat-topped shield of arms, no date, legend around

Size: 24mm, 1.65g

Grade: F, edge clipped, some corrosion and wear to high points, portrait visible, good example of a debased Tudor coin with visible portrait - some are much worse!

Obverse: Henry seated on throne, trefoil mint mark, H. D.G. ROSA SInE SPIA

Reverse: Long cross over royal shield, T-W either side for Bp Wolsey, CIVI TAS DVR RAM (common die error R instead of H)

Size: 15.5mm, 0.62g

Grade: Fine

Grade: AVF, good portrait and nicely centred coin, if a little weak in areas.

Grade: F+, rweak areas, loss to edges, crack at 4 o'clock

Note: The only coins of Ireland to have the portrait of Henry VIII were those issued once his son was on the throne and therefore very rare.

Reverse: Harp mint mark, CIVI TAS DVB LINIE, long cross over shield of arms

Size: 25mm, 2.49g

Grade: NVF, well centred and struck for type, good portrait, a little buckled
